How to get Viper in Marvel Snap

Give your Snap deck some bite.

Marvel Snap may be a fast-playing collectible card game, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t deep strategies and tactics to discover. Each deck you build only has 12 cards, while there are just six rounds to try to dominate at least two of the three locations. But the locations are randomized, and there are hundreds of different cards to collect. Viper is a popular one in some awesome decks. Here we’ll discuss how to get Viper in Marvel Snap and how best to use her.

How to use Viper in Marvel Snap

Viper is a Pool Three card in Marvel Snap. This means you’ll have a Collection Level of at least 486 to get her as a random card pull. However, once you get her, there are some interest decks you can put into action. Viper is generally used in Disruption decks, as her On Reveal power gives your opponent control of one of your other cards at her location.

Here are some fun combos you can create with Viper:

  • Viper and Ebony Maw: Ebony Maw is a seven Power card. But once in a location, the owner can’t play any more cards here. You may be giving up a lot of power, but once you do, you usually control the outcome of that lane.
  • The Hood and Viper: The Hood puts a strong Demon card into your hand but is itself a minus two Power card. If only there was a way to get rid of it...
  • Typhoid Mary and Viper: Her Ongoing power gives ‘your’ other cards minus one power. Enough said.
  • Viper and Debrii: Debrii adds a zero Power Rock to every other location for both players. Follow this with Viper, and suddenly your opponent’s side of the board looks pretty rubbish.
  • Viper and Electro: On reveal, this gives you plus one Energy. But its Ongoing ability means you can only play one card per turn, so Electro is perfect for giving away.
  • Viper and Hazmat: On reveal, Hazmat gives all other cards on both sides minus one power. Great if your opponent has more cards, one of which you can give them via Viper.

There are lots of ways to cause mischief with Viper, making her a great addition to any disrupt-themed deck.
