How to evolve Girafarig into Farigiraf in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Never give up on filling your Pokédex.

While Girafarig isn't necessarily one of the most well-known Pokémon, it's definitely an interesting one. This giraffe-like Pokémon was introduced in the second generation of games as a new psychic type and was brought back into the fray with a new evolution, Farigiraf, in the latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Unfortunately, finding a Girafarig isn't all too easy, making getting a Farigiraf on your team seem almost impossible. Fortunately, you might have some luck finding a Girafarig in the West Province (Area Two) by Porto Marinada.

How to get Farigiraf in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Once you have a Girafarig in your party, the next step will be to level it up to level 32. At this point, your Girafarig will be asked to learn the move Twin Beam. Upon learning the move, Girafarig needs to level up one more time before a cutscene unfolds in which the psychic-type giraffe evolves into Farigiraf. These two Pokémon are the only two in existence with the ability to learn this particular move.

You also have the option of finding a Fargiraf in the wild, but it will take lots of time, as they are not freely available until the very end of the game. If you're interested in the best nature for Farigiraf, then searching in the wild or breeding them into Girafarig again will be your best bet.
