Slakoth can be found in various areas throughout Paldea in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. We found ours in South Province Area One. You will need to search in the trees in areas where Slakoth spawns. You can use Miraidon and Koraidon's sprint ability to ram into trees and knock Slakoth loose. Then you simply need to catch it like normal.

How to evolve Slakoth into Vigoroth in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Slakoth will evolve into Vigoroth at level 18 in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Once Slakoth evolves, it will lose its Truant ability and gain the Vital Spirit ability. This will allow Vigoroth to act each turn and be unable to be put to sleep. Giving Vigoroth a good nature will increase its effectiveness in battle.

How to evolve Vigoroth into Slaking in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To evolve Vigoroth into Slaking in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, you must raise Vigoroth to level 36. But many trainers opt to keep Vigoroth rather than evolve it to its final stage despite its phenomenal stats. This is due to Slaking's ability Truant, which means it will be inactive every other turn. This causes Slaking to be easily countered by using Protect on the turns it can move.
