How to get the Zenet Hatchling mount in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

The hardest winds begin with a gust and a flap.

World of Warcraft has no shortage of amazing mounts. The Dragonflight expansion continues this trend. There are mounts like the Ottuks that require a reputation grind to unlock. There are also mounts like the Zenet Hatchling, which requires a different kind of perseverance. Here's how to add it to your roster.

Where to find the Zenet Hatchling mount in WoW Dragonflight

Acquiring the Zenet Hatchling is a multi-step process. First, players must find and slay the Zenet Avis in the Ohn'ahran Plains. This is a rare spawn with a spawn timer between two and eight hours. Once killed, the Zenet Avis will drop the Zenet Egg. After seven days (real-time), the egg will hatch, and the Zenet Hatchling can be added to a player's stable.

The amount of work required to capture this mount will likely mean that it will stay out of the hands of casual players. There's still a chance to nab it randomly if the timing lines up with a player in the Ohn'ahran Plains while the spawn is active. However, as is usually the case with these mounts, they become the target of dedicated mount farmers. If you're looking to add it to your collection, check the looking for group feature to see if there's a group currently tracking it.
