A zombie-slaying kitty.

If you didn't know, Survivor.io has multiple characters you can use while killing zombies and monsters. There are three different characters, including the default characters Common, Tsukiyomi, and Catnips. Each survivor can be upgraded and has different ways to unlock them. Let's find out how.

How to get Catnips in Survivor.io

Catnips is the third of three survivors you can use while playing Survivor.io. Every survivor has an exclusive ability, which makes them unique. Catnips is a field medic. So, to no surprise, its ability is the Medi-drone, which creates a healing zone.

To unlock Catnips, you would've needed to participate in the 2022 Annual Christmas Carnival event and complete the objectives by collecting enough Santa Hats. The annual event runs from December 22 to December 29. If the event has already passed, you'll need to wait for a future event that allows you to get Catnips.

How to get Tsukiyomi in Survivor.io

Tsukiyomi is the first character to come to Survivor.io, besides the default character named Common. Her exclusive skill is the Moonshade Slash, which inflicts a good amount of damage to the enemies.

If you'd like to unlock Tsukiyomi, you will have to play the Survivor Pass Season 1. If the pass is already over, don't worry. Looking at Survivor.io's pattern, it seems like they will drop a new character for you to play every pass.

The default character, named Common, is pretty common, as the name suggests. It will be playable by default and will not require any unlocking. Its exclusive skill gives three percent damage to all skills.

With only three playable survivors in Survivor.io, it seems like the developers at Habby are just getting started with updates to the characters in Survivor.io. So it shouldn't be long before we see more survivors.
