Zelda fan counting down days to Tears of the Kingdom in a unique way

The fandom never ceases to amaze.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most anticipated games of 2023, releasing on May 12, 2023. Many have been counting down the days until they can experience Link's new adventure, but one fan has taken an interesting approach to this countdown.

Redditor sick-asfrick has taken to Reddit and TikTok, creating a paper chain to show how many days until The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releases. Each day sick-asfrick cuts down one of the rings in this paper chain, showing we are one day closer to what may be the GOTY for 2023.

Many fans are happy to use a simple countdown timer for Tears of the Kingdom, but some, like sick-asfrick, take different routes to showcase their dedication. With 70 days left at the time of writing, sick-asfrick has quite a few paper chain links to cut.
