All Minecraft Ore Locations in 1.19

In version 1.18 of Minecraft, the levels that generate Ores completely changed, but not so much in 1.19. Instead, players got better at finding Ore and learned more about how to mine it. I've created a handy table on the best locations to find ore in Minecraft 1.19

Coal is one of the most frequent ores in Minecraft, but only in stone and deepslate. Your best bet for mining Coal is around Y 96.

Copper Ore in Minecraft 1.19

Copper Ore and Iron Ore will now also generate in Veins. These large deposits will mix the Ore with a Filler Material, which will either be Tuff for Iron and Granite for Copper. You should look for these veins around Y 48.

Iron Ore in Minecraft 1.19

As mentioned, Iron Ore will now also generate in Veins. These large deposits will mix the Ore with a Filler Material, which will be Tuff. If you find Tuff, check around—you might have found an Iron Vein! Iron has several optimal ranges. The first is in mountains at Y 225; the next is around Y 16, and finally between Y -32 to Y -60.

Lapis Lazuli Ore in Minecraft 1.19

Lapis Lazuli will never generate exposed following the 1.18 update, making it a lot more like Ancient Debris. It exclusively generates between the levels Y -64 to Y 64, and is most concentrated between Y -32 to Y 32.

Redstone Ore in Minecraft 1.19

Redstone is more frequent the deeper you are, but only generates between Y -64 to Y 15. I recommend looking for it at around Y -32.

Gold Ore in Minecraft 1.19

The Gold that generates in Badlands has been increased in version 1.18 and version 1.19. Badlands are now the easiest place to get gold outside of The Nether.

Emerald Ore in Minecraft 1.19

Emeralds generate more the higher in the mountains you are. This explains how those villagers are able to get so many despite never seeing them mining; they must practically pick them out the earth.

Diamond Ore in Minecraft 1.19

Diamond Ore is the most precious Ore in the overworld. It's more frequent the deeper you are, but best mined at Y -64. There are entire guides dedicated to finding diamonds, and some players consider it a bit of an art!
