The Fortnite Spring Breakout event has arrived, and there are a lot of free cosmetics up for grabs. Players who want to fill their locker up with all sorts of goodies won't want to miss out on this.

How to get every free cosmetic in the Fortnite Spring Breakout

Beginning March 29 with the start of the event, there will be Spring Breakout Quests to complete, and finishing enough of them will reward players with cosmetics. This does mean players will need to play a lot of Fortnite over that span, or they run the risk of missing out on the free stuff.

The majority of the quests are XP boosts, but Epic laid out how players can get cosmetics for completing some of them depending on the day they come out. Here's a look at how that plays out.

  • Day One Quest’s Reward: Bloomback Sack Back Bling
  • Day Seven Quest’s Reward: Shell Smash Spray
  • Day Nine Quest’s Reward: The Works Loading Screen
  • Day 12 Quest’s Reward: A Spring Breakout Banner Icon

Completionists who want to take things even further will be rewarded with more XP and even more cosmetics. Finishing 12 quests gets earns players the Nannerbloom Hammer Pickaxe, and 22 gets them the Fresh Flyer Glider.

How long is the Fortnite Spring Breakout event?

The event runs from March 29 to April 11, so there's plenty of time for players to hop into Fortnite and see everything new that's being offered. There's a lot more than just quests to complete, as things like the Charge Shotgun and Flintknock Pistol have been unvaulted.

For the Spring Breakout event in particular, the Egg Launcher has made a return for players looking to make a bang. There are also eggs around the map that will heal players, give out Gold Bars, and even give the fan-favorite Hop effect that simulates a low gravity feel in Fortnite. Between this and Creative 2.0, it's a good time to be a Fortnite fan.
