What are the new Plate Carriers in DMZ?

Four new armor plate variants.

In Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ, players can acquire special three-plate armor vests that provide your operator with certain power-ups. These are available separately from regular armor vests: one-plate, two-plate, and three-plate vests. Here's a list of all the new plate carriers available in the game and how they work.

The Comms Vest increases the duration of all UAV technology in DMZ, namely the UAV killstreak, UAV Towers, and radios dropped by AI. Furthermore, these equipment and devices function as Advanced UAVs by providing information on the direction the enemies are looking in. The armor vest also gives you an audio cue if an enemy operator is nearby.

You can find these special vests as world loot in locked spaces and supply boxes, however, there is a guaranteed way of acquiring one by utilizing the Barter system at a nearby shop. You can deposit certain valuables and craft a vest for yourself using this feature. As shown in the image above, the barter recipe for the 3-Plate Comms Vest is:

  • 2 Hard Drive: Found inside computers and on shelves.
  • 2 Battery: Found inside computers, toolboxes, and on shelves.
  • 1 Soothing Hand Cream: Found on shelves and tables.

Furthermore, you revive yourself faster as well while using a Self-Revive Kit. The barter recipe for the 3-Plate Medic Vest is:

  • 3 Bandage: Found inside first aid kits, medicine cabinets, and shelves.
  • 1 Liquor: Found inside fridges, and on shelves and tables.
