How to find & complete Courage Island in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Time for Link to take flight!

One of the most eye-opening new mechanics in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is Link's ability to essentially dive from the sky back down to the ground. Courage Island is a separate objective that basically tests how well players can dive. Fortunately, it's one of the easier quests in an otherwise difficult game.

Courage Island in Tears of the Kingdom is located south of the West Hebra Sky Archipelago. From the ground, it's actually right above Ludlo's Bog. Taunhiy Shrine opens up after completing Courage Island once. Its coordinates are -2194, 0951, 1636. The quickest way to get there is to use the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower and then fly south.

How to complete Courage Island in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To complete the Courage Island, players start at the top by diving off a plank through a large green ring. As Link falls, more green rings will be placed that he needs to dive through. The goal is to dive through all of the rings in less than 35 seconds.

It may be tempting to hold the R button and dive throughout the whole trial, but I found that I need to break out the paraglider a couple times just to position Link to get through some of the rings. The rings move around in a circular fashion, so players will sometimes need to aim for where the ring is traveling. Link can afford to glide a couple times and still complete the trial in less than 35 seconds, though.
