The Demon Slayer inspired Roblox experience Project Slayers invites users to become the strongest in the world and take down everyone who's against them—whether this means working as a Slayer and protecting all that exists, or turning toward the path of evil and fighting as a Demon, the choice is up to you. Regardless of the path you choose, however, finding and unlocking certain items (such as Skinned Hide) can be crucial to your journey, but also a bit confusing sometimes, which is why I've worked hard to create the guide below that details everything I know about this puzzling material.
What is Skinned Hide in Project Slayers?
Skinned Hide is a crafting/upgrade material that has a chance of being dropped after defeating bosses. At the time of this article's publication, it's estimated that bosses with Tier 3 and Tier 5 chests have a chance of dropping Skinned Hide.
How to use Skinned Hide in Project Slayers
As mentioned above, Skinned Hide is a material used for crafting/upgrading weapons—specifically, the Devour weapons. Once you've purchased (crafted) any of the Devour weapons (Devour Fans, Devour Scythe, or Devour Katana), they can then be upgraded to higher tiers using materials, such as the Skinned Hide. The higher tier your weapon, the more powerful it will be, and the better buff/passive it will have.
Unfortunately, the exact requirements needed to upgrade these weapons through each of their tiers are currently unknown. I can, however, list the requirements for purchasing/crafting each weapon in its un-upgraded/base form, and then include some other unconfirmed info that I've collected while researching. Some information in this list is missing, or may be changed in the future, but I will be sure to keep it updated so it reflects correct information as I learn more.

Where to use Skinned Hide in Project Slayers
Once you reach the tier that requires Skinned Hide, return to the location where you first purchased the Devour weapon you want to upgrade. Once there, you should see a blacksmith NPC—speak with this NPC to upgrade your weapon to its next tier and use your Skinned Hide, if applicable.
How to get Skinned Hide in Project Slayers
At the time of this article's publication, Skinned Hide is believed to only be dropped from Tier 3 or Tier 5 chests, which means defeating Rengoku and/or Akeza are likely your best bets to earn this material, as they drop Tier 5 chests which are more likely to give good loot than Tier 3 chests. You can also fight the other five bosses located in Ouwohana, which are all easier to defeat and will drop Tier 3 chests, but the likelihood of receiving Skinned Hide is lower.
