Escape From Tarkov Long Road Quest Guide

Big highway, can't miss it.

Quests in Escape From Tarkov are sometimes the most tedious endeavors imaginable. I know your frustration personally, especially for quests like the Long Road. Luckily, our guide at PGG explains what you need to do to complete the Long Road quest and where to do it.

How to complete the Long Road quest in Escape From Tarkov

The Long Road quest is one of many quests you accept from the Skier. To complete the Long Road quest in Escape From Tarkov, you must eliminate 15 Scavs. However, there is a catch: the Scavs must be killed only along the main road on the map Lighthouse. When you find the main road, run along the road until you encounter Scavs. You won't find 15 Scavs on your first raid, so it's best to do the quest passively while looting or doing other quests on Lighthouse. Easy enough, right? Unfortunately, finding your way on specific maps such as Lighthouse can be painful. Luckily we can help you find your way through Lighthouse and even The Woods.

Where is the main road on Lighthouse in Escape From Tarkov?

The main road runs along the central part of Lighthouse in Tarkov. Finding the main road can be tricky, as sometimes you spawn in wooded areas or are far from any roads and buildings. With enough time in-game, you can eventually find landmarks that can help lead you to places you want to go. I recommend looking up online maps and trying to match what you see in-game with what services such as map genie show you. You can also use community maps like the one below to help you find your way on Lighthouse.

Use the map above to help learn the Lighthouse map, and slowly head toward the center. There, the main road runs across the lower section of the Lighthouse. Generally, the idea is to look for a massive highway, but it's not so simple, as plenty of side roads can be mistaken for the main road.

Luckily, this is where the landmarks we mentioned earlier come into play. Along the main road are several locations such as Construction, Resort, Fishing Huts, and Side Tunnel. Learn where these are and you can find the main road nearby. For example, the following images depict the main road from both Resort and Construction.

Beyond following these tips and tricks, we recommend watching some Tarkov gameplay videos and guides on YouTube. Doing so can help a lot to understand where you need to go on most maps on Tarkov, as it did for me.

Long Road Escape From Tarkov Quest Rewards

Eventually, as you kill over 15 Scavs, you can turn in the quest to Skier for the following rewards:

  • 45k (goes up to 47k or 50k with either level one or two Hideout Intelligence Centers).
  • DVL-10 sniper rifle unlocked for purchase.
  • 15k XP.
  • 0.2 Skier rep.
