Fortnite Summer Event 2023 is just around the corner, and fans are excited ever since they got a whiff of it. Although Epic Games plans on surprising fans by keeping things under wraps until the last minute, several dataminers have provided plenty of leaks that give us an idea about this upcoming event. Keep in mind that info from leaks should be taken with a grain of salt until confirmed officially, but these appear to be reliable. So, here's everything that you need to know about the Summer Event in Fortnite.

When does the Fortnite Summer Event 2023 start?

According to the reputable dataminer @ShiinaBR, the Summer Event will begin on July 4, 2023, at 9am ET. This event will be known as the Summer Escape Event in Fortnite.

When does the 2023 Summer Event end in Fortnite?

The Summer Escape Event will end on July 18, 2023, at 9am ET which means players have plenty of time to enjoy the new quests and enjoy the rewards.

Summer Event 2023 new map changes in Fortnite

Fortnite will provide plenty of fun elements for players to dig their claws into, starting with new map changes. Although we do not have any official communication from Epic Games, leaks suggest that existing POIs from the jungle biome will get the summer makeover, which includes floating rafts, umbrella chairs, pool decks, and much more.

All Fortnite Summer Event 2023 Quests and free rewards

According to Epic's official blog, these quests will remain available for a specific period of time during the Summer Escape Event: The Quench Quests, Lagoon Party Quests, and Make an Entrance Quests. 

The Quench Quests will remain available from July 4, 2023, and end on July 7, 2023. Along with XP, players will get the Nanners Wrap as a reward for completing the Quench Quests.

The Lagoon Party Quests will become available from July 8, 2023, until July 11, 2023. Players will get the Treezy Back Bling along with XP as a reward.

Finally, the Make an Entrance Quests will become available from July 12, 2023, and players have until July 16, 2023, to complete these quests. Players will get XP and Blossom Drop Contrail as a reward.

Summer Event 2023 skins and outfits in Fortnite

According to Epic's official blog, the 2023 Summer Escape Event has added new skins for Opal and Chaos Explorer which is available at the Item Shop.
