All Eikons missing from Final Fantasy 16

So many Eikons.

One of my favorite parts of Final Fantasy XVI is the Eikon battles. These are grand-scale fights with destructive power being thrown around like nothing. With numerous Dominants and Eikons appearing in FFXVI, I couldn't help but notice that several are missing, including some of my favorites.

All missing Eikons in FF16

While many of the most iconic and popular Eikons in FFXVI can be traced to numerous Final Fantasy titles, there are so many more that did not appear. With how many there are and some overlapping summons, it makes sense to narrow this list down. That said, here are the remaining summons, Aeons, and Espers that do not appear as Eikons in FFXVI.

What Are Lost Eikons in FFXVI?

Leviathan is known as the Lost, an Eikon that no longer exists. The Tomes suggest that this was Barnabas' mother, which could explain why water is featured heavily in the battles against him. Other theories could place Leviathan's Dominant alive and hiding underwater. It is also possible that Leviathan's Dominant has not awakened for quite some time. FFXVI does not truly answer what Leviathan's fate is, but this could be explained in a DLC.

Eikons we want added to Final Fantasy 16

The Final Fantasy series has numerous Espers, Aeons, and Summons that would be perfect as Eikons. Personally, I would love to Atomos, Alexander, and Knights of the Round. Atomos would be an absolutely horrifying site on the battlefield, sucking up countless victims. Its sheer size and disturbing appearance would make it stand out against the rest of the Eikons.

The opposite end of this would be Alexander, a terrifying sight for its enemies but rallying for its allies thanks to its massive size and holy radiance. While I'd love to see Knights of the Round appear as sort of an opposite to Odin, having a single Dominant become 13 knights would be hard to explain and likely overpowered. However, it would be an incredible trump card to pull in an Eikon battle.
