On your travels throughout England, you'll find several Altars that you need to sacrifice a various assortment of creatures to appease. All you get is a bit of parchment next to the Altar, informing you of the amount of a specific animal or animal part to be sacrificed. You then have to figure out where to find it!
Assassin's Creed Valhalla Where to find Bullhead
To find Bullheads in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, you need to look for them in rivers; the best place to locate them is by traveling southeast of Ravensthorpe, where the two rivers meet. You can fish just outside Ravensthorpe, but you won't find the Bullhead as often in that location.
Bullheads are for the Elisdon Altar in Grantebridgescire, where you are required to find ten Bullheads to make a sacrifice to the Altar. So get fishing everyone! Head to the rivers east of this location or southeast of Ravensthorpe; use the map below to find the most suitable location to find Bullheads. Hop in a boat, row to the middle of the river, and locate the fish that doesn't have a fin. Use Odin Vision to make this easier.
You can catch the Bullhead one of two ways. The first is using the fishing line, which unlocks after building the fishing hut at Settlement Rank 2. And the second by using your bow and arrow and shooting them. We recommend the fishing line, as shooting them causes the fish to disperse for a few minutes, which wastes time.
The size of the Bullhead does sadly matter; you need Bullhead fish of the same size; small, medium, or large for the Elisdon Altar, so sadly, if you're not incredibly lucky, this will increase the time spent fishing for them! Though in the spot, we recommend you will only find small or medium Bullheads, so this will shorten the time spent fishing, hopefully!
If you are unsure how to fish, take a gander at our fishing guide. Overall, when hunting for the Bullheads, you'll undoubtedly catch other types of fish, which you can either keep for the fishing hut quests or sell to make some money!
