Best Weapons in Assassin’s Creed Mirage and how to get them

While a master assassin must rely on stealth to succeed, Assassin's Creed Mirage has plenty of weapons to use when you get discovered. Experimenting with Basim's various swords and daggers gave me plenty of time to find the most powerful and useful combinations. Take a look at the best weapons in Assassin's Creed Mirage below.

Best Weapons to use in AC Mirage

Basim is a Hidden One fighting with a sword and dagger in Assassin's Creed Mirage, meaning you'll need a pair of weapons to be most effective. Below I've listed the best weapons to use in AC Mirage, including sword and dagger,.

AC Mirage - Best Swords, ranked

1. Rostam Sword

• Location: How to Unlock
  • Complete "The Weapons Dealer" Contract
• Effect: Chain Reaction
  • Every consecutive strike deals +5% damage, up to a maximum of +50% damage.

The Rostam Sword is the best weapon in my opinion, as it increases the damage of chain strikes (performing them increases the amount of damage you do). Tougher enemies make this weapon especially useful, but you can still notice the effect when facing weaker foes.

2. Shamsir-e Zomorrodnegar

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Northern Oasis. Must spend three Mysterious Shards to close the barrier. Available after beginning Nehal's Calling quest.
• Effect: Blood Price
  • Maximum Health is increased by 50%, but damage is increased by 50%.

Using the Shamsir-e Zomorrodnegar sword is a gamble but greatly increases your damage. You'll need to play more carefully, as each strike is more deadly because of your reduced health. If it didn't halve your health, I'd put this as the best weapon, but it still gives the Rostam Sword a run for its money.

3. Initiate of Alamut Sword

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Earned from Rebekah during the Prologue.
• Effect: Sharpened Blade
  • After a successful Parry, next Attack deals +50% damage

Despite being the starting sword, the Initiate of Alamut Sword is a good weapon. The additional damage after a perfect parry is a good tool when you are caught in combat. Upgrading the Initiate of Alamut Sword increases the damage dealt.

4. Zanj Uprising Sword

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Gear Chest in Harbiyah Region in the Damascus Gate Prison.
• Effect:

The Zanj Uprising Sword functions similarly to the Initiate of Alamut Sword, only it affects perfect dodges instead of parries. You still gain the additional 50% damage boost, which is also increased through upgrading the weapon.

5. Hidden One Sword

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Gear Chest at the Abandoned Caravanserai in West Wilderness.
• Effect: Venemous
  • Every fifth strike Poisons the enemy.

The Hidden One Sword is a must for poison builds. Even those not relying on poison will find use in it. With the Hidden One Sword equipped, you can poison your foes and retreat while they die on their own or take advantage of the building damage.

1. Samsaama

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Northern Oasis. Must spend three Mysterious Shards to close the barrier. Available after beginning Nehal's Calling quest.
• Effect: Life Steal
  • Every fifth strike heals Basim for 10% of his health.

The Samsaama is, without a doubt, the best dagger in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Every strike heals Basim, and there is no downside to using it. It also comes fully upgraded, meaning it requires no material to increase its potency.

2. Dagger of Time (Deluxe Edition)

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Purchase Assassin's Creed Mirage Deluxe Edition.
• Effect: Dagger of Time
  • Perfect parries slow down time for three seconds.

Combined with the Initiate of Alamut Sword, the Dagger of Time turns you into a time-bending warrior of death. On its own, it's still quite good, allowing you to act freely for several seconds; whether you wish to deal damage or retreat is up to you.

3. Initiate of Alamut Dagger

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Earned from Rebekah during the Prologue.
• Effect: Aggressive Defense
  • Parries deal +25 Defense damage.

The Initiate of Alamut Dagger turns your defense into offense by damaging foes when you parry. I recommend pairing this with the Initiate of Alamut Sword for maximum effectiveness on your parries, especially if you find yourself in combat often.

4. Zanj Uprising Dagger

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Gear Chest in Abbasiya region at the Four Markets.
• Effect: Second Wind
  • Successful dodges refill 10% of Stamina.

The Zanj Uprising Dagger is perfect for those who prefer to dodge rather than parry; it actively rewards you for perfect dodges. Basim's actions require stamina, leaving him vulnerable when it depletes; with the Zanj Uprising Dagger, you can prevent using all of your stamina.

5. Hidden One Dagger

• Location - How to Unlock
  • Gear Chest in the Northern Wilderness at the Water Mill.
• Effect: Spread
  • Melee kills of Poisoned enemies create a poison cloud that damages nearby enemies.

The Hidden One Dagger is mostly intended for poison builds, as its effect requires an enemy to be poisoned. Avoid this dagger unless you intend to use poison, but it becomes incredibly powerful when paired with poison tools and the Hidden One Sword.
