5 fun builds to try in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

No one said being an assassin had to be dull.

Assassin's Creed Mirage returns to the root of the series, doing away with most of the open world and RPG mechanics. That said, it still allows for different builds and playstyles through a skill tree, weapons, armor, and various tools. With these, you can create different builds and experiment with how you play; I like to create different builds to increase the fun of AC Mirage.

Best fun builds to play in AC Mirage

While playing Assassin's Creed Mirage, I experimented with different playstyles and discovered some fun ways to play the game. Some allow for roleplaying different types of assassins, while others are just plain fun. Here are the most fun build in Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Non-lethal Build - AC Mirage

  • Outfit: Rostam Outfit
  • Sword: Sand Sword (Deluxe Edition)/Abbasid Knight Sword
  • Dagger: Zanj Uprising Dagger

Playing non-lethal is my favorite way to enjoy stealth games. In Assassin's Creed Mirage it's harder than playing to kill, but it provides a fun challenge. Early on, you'll only be able to avoid enemies altogether, as you cannot take them down without killing them. However, once you unlock Blowdarts and Smokebombs, you can put enemies to sleep.

Playing with this build requires you to be stealthy, avoid detection, and strike carefully. The best route is to avoid detection using Noisemakers and whistling to draw enemies away from routes you wish to use. When that fails, rely on Smokebombs and Blowdarts to put enemies to sleep. Until you master stealth, you may find yourself running away more often, but I enjoy the challenge of completing my mission without bloodshed.

Kicking Build - AC Mirage

  • Outfit: Milad's Outfit
  • Sword: Initiate of Alamut Sword
  • Dagger: The Samsaama Dagger

This is probably the silliest build, but it is satisfying when executed properly. I doubt you can finish the game this way, but it's worth trying out for a bit. You must have the Kick Back skill unlocked, and I recommend having tools like the Noisemaker to draw enemies toward you. It also requires you to fight on roofs.

The Kick Back skill allows you to kick and knock enemies back after parrying. That's the build. Parry and kick people off roofs. The Noisemaker is to draw enemies onto roofs so you can properly kick them off This is Sparta style. As I said, it's silly, but I love watching enemies fall to their deaths in slow motion after a swift kick in the gut.

Ranged Build - AC Mirage

  • Outfit: Initiate of Alamut Outfit
  • Sword: Zanji Uprising Sword
  • Dagger: Rostam Dagger/Hidden One Dagger

With this build, you'll focus on dropping enemies from afar. The two main aspects of this build are your tools and using the environment to your advantage. Playing this way is tricky, but it allows you to get creative with how you approach situations and avoid detection for the most part. It also keeps your cool assassin robes clean from blood!

You'll need the Throwing Knives and Blowdarts for this build, but you can also use torches if you are sadistic. Blowdarts allow you to drop enemies silently, either putting them to sleep or poisoning them. Throwing Knives play the same role, and you can even set enemies on fire using torches if you can spot environmental effects, such as dropping a crane's content on enemies to kill them even better. Explosive pots also make good tools for groups of enemies.

Trickster Build - AC Mirage

  • Outfit: Rostam Outfit
  • Sword: Hidden One Sword
  • Dagger: Hidden One Dagger

The Trickster build is a twist on the non-lethal build. Instead of killing your enemies, your aim is to lead them away and distract them while you make your move. You'll need to stock up on tools for this, with the Smokebomb, Noisemaker, Trap, and Torch all being good choices. The Blowdart is also handy, especially with the rage upgrade.

With this build, you simply want to annoy your enemies or make them believe something is there with misdirection. Throwing down one of your tools to lure enemies to that spot is your primary method of stealth. Whistling to get enemies close and then leading them further away with one of your tools is the best way to ensure you don't get spotted.

Rage Build - AC Mirage

  • Outfit: Sand Outfit (Deluxe Edtition)/Abbasid Knight Out
  • Sword: Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar
  • Dagger: Abbasid Knight Dagger

The Rage build comes in two parts: the combat-focused part and the part where you turn enemies on their allies. With this build, I throw stealth out the window and rush in, drawing all enemies to me. Using this build can be challenging, but it puts the combat of AC Mirage to the test, as well as your skills. You'll also need to pick up the Smokebomb and Blowdarts with the rage upgrades.

I like to kick combat off by turning the enemies against one another. Inducing rage in them will give you temporary allies, but the bulk of combat falls on your shoulders. The Counter Roll skill is a must, as it allows you to face armored enemies more easily and get behind them to their weak points. Kick Back is another helpful skill to clear out groups of enemies and make yourself some room.
