Poseidon (Tyrant of the Seas) appears in the Record of Ragnarok manga series as a powerful god able to manipulate water. When I heard he would appear in Anime Adventures as a secret character, I was sure he would be a true water-based powerhouse, but it made me wonder just how OP he would be. Also, I wasn't sure if it would pay off to get him, as it has proved to be a pretty challenging endeavor. How OP is Poseidon (Tyrant of the Seas) in Anime Adventures?

Poseidon (Tyrant of the Seas) is a very OP character in Anime Adventures. He has a 23k placement damage, which I found absurdly powerful. He costs 2k on placement, so he's similarly priced to other high-damage secret characters, like Doffy. His first move looks like a two or three-multi-hit attack, with the following stats:

  • Damage: 23,043 - 36,870
  • SP: 8.4
  • Range: 16.2 - 17.3

These stats make him overpowered and one of the best units in Anime Adventures currently available. Needless to say, I think that obtaining Poseidon (Tyrant of the Seas) will be worth your time despite the extra effort you'll need to put in.

To get Poseidon (Tyrant of the Seas) in Anime Adventures, you must evolve him from his base unit from the Summer Event Secret Portal. After obtaining the core unit, you will need the following materials:

  • God's Trident
  • Star Fruit x12
  • Star Fruit (Blue) x5
  • Star Fruit (Pink) x3
  • Star Fruit (Green) x4
  • Star Fruit (Rainbow) x1
