How to open Holo Chests in Fortnite

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Opening Holo Chests is the same as it was in prior seasons. You'll need to collect keys found around the map and use them to unlock them. Keys can be found most often in chests and occasionally in other loot boxes.

Once you collect the key, it will display beside your gold bars amount on the bottom right of the screen. When you have a key, you can walk up to the chest you want to open and hold the interact button X, Square, or E to open it. Some Holo Chests require more than one key, so you'll have to acquire more keys before trying to unlock them.

These chests can hold all kinds of weapons, including the new season weapons, inside them, all the way up to Mythic rarity, so be sure to keep an eye out for keys while looting and make your way to one as soon as possible. It could mean the difference in your survival during the match!
