Best Ways to Steal Credits in Starfield

Stealing credits from people or making off with Credsticks can be a great way to get rich quickly! That's why we've reviewed and listed all the best ways to get you some more money in Starfield.

Pushing Credits into Buckets

A very clever Reddit user called MrJsingh found a great way to steal a large amount of credits at one time in Starfield without getting caught by anyone. In the video, the player can be seen at the Red Mile casino in Porrima III in Porrima. They scoot a basket around the floor while going to individual tables and using a container to scoop the Credsticks into the basket. After collecting all the Credsticks in the bucket, they go to a place in the corner to sneakily steal all the Credsticks at once.

This isn't the quickest way to illegally snag some credits in Starfield, but it is an extremely effective one. If you get your Theft all the way to Rank 4, you will find pickpocketing to be extremely easy. At this point, you can take cash from wealthy NPCs without them noticing. To get your rank up, you'll need to raise your character level to get extra skill points.

Other than pickpocketing money or swiping Credsticks, there is a technical way to steal "credits" in Starfield, and that's to steal things other than Credits. Steal expensive and highly valuable items like weapons or armor, then sell them to a vendor and rake in the credits. While this is not the same as simply stealing credits, it will make you money fairly quickly.
