Best Nature for Munkidori in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Teal Mask DLC

Don't monkey around with other natures.

Of the Loyal Three, Munkidori works best on my team in the Teal Mask DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. As a result, I scoured the Kitakami area looking for this Poison and Psychic-type Pokémon. Once I finally caught it, I needed to make sure it had a good nature that made the most of its stats. Here are my recommendations for Munkidori's best natures in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

What is the best nature for Munkidori in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

I recommend picking one of the following natures for Munkidori in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet to make this Pokémon as effective as possible.

  • Modest ( + Sp. Attack, - Attack)
  • Timid (+ Speed, - Attack)

Munkidori has fantastic Special Attack and Speed, making it an excellent special sweeper. Your best choices will be the Modest nature for stronger attacks or the Timid nature for additional Speed. With Munkidori's strong Special Attack, I recommend the Timid nature for the increased Speed, allowing it to outspeed more Pokémon.

How to choose the best Nature in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The best way to determine a Pokémon's best nature is to look at its stats, movepool, and what role it will fill on your team. With Munkidori's stat spread, it works best as a special sweeper. It has some more supportive moves, but its bulk isn't the best, so I prefer using it as an offensive Pokémon.
