When does Baby Steps release on PS5?

Baby Steps is geared for a summer 2024 release on PS5 and PC. Fans of the 2017 hit Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy will be pleased to see another game in a similar vein. While we didn't get direct confirmation, it does look like it'll be a difficult game in which you'll have to traverse without falling off a mountain. There will be a lot of frustration with this game, so try not to smash your controller in anger.

Getting Over It became a hit on streaming sites like Twitch as a result of the difficulty, and it's easy to envision that becoming the case with Baby Steps. We'll just have to wait and find out when it releases in 2025.

Baby Steps trailer

The initial reveal trailer showed off the main character walking around and some of the humor that'll be featured throughout Baby Steps. It looks like that's going to be what the majority of the game will entail as the State of Play trailer showed more of the same.

When it comes to the humor, it'll certain be hit or miss among players, but that's also what one of the major appeals will be to the game. PlayStation said in the showcase they are committed to bringing games like this to platform, so expect to see more indie titles like this in the future.
