Best Nature for Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Look to the Moon and pick the right nature.

I've always loved the Clefairy line, with it being second to Jigglypuff for my favorite Moon Stone Pokémon evolution. So I was thrilled when the Teal Mask DLC added the Fairy-type Pokémon to Scarlet and Violet. After catching a Clefairy, I wanted to ensure it had a good nature before evolving it with a Moon Stone in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

What is the best nature for Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

These are the best natures I recommend for Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

  • Modest (+ Sp. Attack, - Attack)
  • Calm (+ Sp. Defense, - Attack)
  • Timid (+Speed, - Attack)

The Clefairy line has middling values in most stats, but Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed are the most valuable ones for it. As a result, your best choice for nature for Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable is Modest, Calm, or Timid. All three are viable options; it just depends on which stat you want to increase.

When determining the best nature for a Pokémon, its stats and move pool are what you should look at. Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet have higher Special Attack and Special Defense, but Speed is always important. The above choices will make the most of your Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable.
