Best Nature for Seedot, Nuzleaf, and Shiftry in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

While I prefer the Lotad evolution and spent some time to get its nature right, the Shiftry line has grown on me. So, it's a big relief that The Teal Mask in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has added Seedot, Nuzleaf, and Shiftry into the Kitakami update. Once I caught one, I popped into its summary to see if it had a good nature or if I needed to catch another one.

What is the Best Nature for Seedot, Nuzleaf, and Shiftry in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

When using Seedot, Nuzleaf, and Shiftry, the natures below are the best choices in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

• Adamant (+ Attack, - Sp. Attack)
• Jolly (+ Speed, - SP. Attack)

Shiftry is in a weird position where its Attack and Special Attack are fairly close, and its moves allow for either option. I prefer a physically orientated Shiftry, so I opt for the Adamant nature. Leaf Blade and Sucker Punch are great options for Shiftry, and both rely on Attack.

The Jolly nature is another great option as it increases Shiftry's already good Speed. Shiftry has a good Speed but falls into the range where many other Pokémon have similar Speeds. With a Jolly nature, you can outspeed these Pokémon and act first.

Before deciding on the best nature for Seedot, Nuzleaf, and Shiftry, you should look at its stats and determine what nature best suits those and its moveset. Shiftry can be used either way due to its close offensive stats and varied move pool, but I prefer Shiftry as a physical offensive Pokémon.
