Which is the best platform for Lords of the Fallen?

Lords of the Fallen is one of the best open-world exploration games to be released this year. Though the gameplay and narration are solid, it has a lot of issues in terms of performance. Lords of the Fallen PC vs console performance comparison

First and foremost, the game runs poorly on consoles (i.e. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S). Since its launch, players from each platform have been posting grievances on Reddit forums about various issues regarding every aspect of the game. But out of everything, the Xbox version has the most negative reviews. Several users say their gameplay experience was filled with constant crashes, black screens, and FPS drops to the point they want the game out of the Xbox Store until a crucial patch is shipped.

Even PS5 users had a similar say due to poor optimization and frame rate issues arising during gameplay, further worsened by the 30FPS cap limit. Also, players report it gets terrible during co-op mode, as they cannot interact with their partners or share things and usually end up standing on top of their avatar the majority of the time due to network lag.

On the other hand, PC players are having a great time with the game, as only a handful of crashes have been recorded until now. I also had a smooth experience with only a few crashes here and there. Moreover, when I compared my gameplay video on PC with my other friends from PS5, I found the texture, graphics quality, lighting, and Boss combats way better than the console counterpart. Even little details like loading time or UI interaction felt smooth and consistent.

Which platform runs Lords of the Fallen best?

In conclusion, PC is the best platform to run Lords of the Fallen. Remember, it's nowhere near perfect. As mentioned earlier, it has crash issues, even if they are less frequent than on console. Still, it is far superior in providing somewhat bug-free gameplay with high graphic performance compared to other supported platforms in the current state.
