All Simple Vault Key locations in Genshin Impact

While exploring Genshin Impact's Erinnyes Forest region, you'll encounter a shipwreck on the east coast, just north of Lumidouce Harbor. At the bottom of the shipwreck, you'll find a locked gate housing a coveted Precious Chest and a Hydroculus required to offer to Fontaine's Statue of The Seven.

To open the gate, you need to find three Simple Vault Keys. Follow along to find all their locations and solve the Shattered Vessel puzzle.

How to solve the locked gate Hydroculus & Precious Chest puzzle in Erinnyes Forest – Genshin Impact Shattered Vessel

Head to the area circled in the image above east of the Foggy Forest Path, north of the Lumidouce Harbor, and south of the Weeping Willow of the Lake. You'll find a shipwreck with a gate hiding a Hydroculus and Precious Chest. When you try opening the gate, you'll be asked to provide three Simple Vault Keys.

Refer to the sections below to find all three Simple Vault Keys. They can be done in any order.

Simple Vault Key I

Head to the topmost point of the shipwreck, where the arrow is pointing above. You can easily climb upward without using any special tricks. Once you get there, you'll find a Bird's Nest. Investigate it to obtain the Simple Vault Key I.

Simple Vault Key II

You'll notice there's a locked Common Chest on the shipwreck. To its left, you'll find a group of about four Treasure Hoarders. Defeat all of the enemies to unlock the Chest, then loot it to obtain Simple Vault Key II.

Simple Vault Key III

Head slightly south of the shipwreck (based on the map) to find a shell with a Dig interaction. You need to interact with it twice: first Dig, then second Investigate. Be careful as there is another Investigate spot in the same location, which will give you Mora. Digging and Investigating the shell will give you the Simple Vault Key III.

After obtaining all three keys, simply interact with the gate at the bottom of the shipwreck to surrender all three keys to open it. Don't forget to loot the Precious Chest and claim the Hydroculus, which are rewards for your effort.
