To play Coolmath Games - The Game, simply click on an empty area of the screen to move there. If you hover over anything and the cursor dot changes to a different icon, you can either examine (magnifying glass), talk to (speech bubble), or interact with it (hand).

First, talk to office manager Cleo (a1). It doesn’t matter how you answer the questions, so pick whatever makes you happy. Cleo asks you to say Hi to everyone, which is Vicky, Mads, and Potep. You can ask for more details, but it’s optional. Cleo also tells you you’ll need to make a smoothie and the instructions are on the fridge in the cafeteria-ria

How to make smoothies in Coolmath Games - The Game

Go out of the door to the south and follow the path into the kitchen. Click the Post-it on the fridge door (b1) to get the following instructions:

  • Recipe: Pineapple, Orange, Apples
  • Preparation: Gather, throw in the hole, serve

Grab a Jelly Truck (b2), then head back to the first room.

Walk out of the door to the right and you’ll find both Vicky (c1) and Mads (c2). Chat with both of them (again, the choices don’t matter, they’re just for fun), until you’ve said hi to them both.

Go left again and grab the Orange from under the stairs (c3), then move to the next room (bottom right) and talk to the Monster there (d1) to find that it doesn’t have any vowels. While here, also pick up the Pineapple (d2).

Go up the stairs and take the Apples (e1), then head back to the kitchen. Bring your cursor to the top of the screen to access your inventory and drag the apples, orange, and pineapple into the smoothie hole (b3). Afterward, you’ll get Four Smoothies. Deliver a smoothie to Cleo, Vicky, and Mads.

The server room password in Coolmath Games - The Game

Now speak to Cleo once more and choose the option saying you can’t get into the Server Room. To get the four-digit code you need to multiply by 2 until you have four numbers. But she also says to then multiply by two one more time, just for luck.

Head back up to the server level and click the keypad (e2). Once open, enter the code 2-0-4-8. You can now go in and talk to Potep (e3, making sure to introduce yourself) and also give him his smoothie. Now you can go back downstairs and let Cleo know you’ve completed your tasks.

After talking to Cleo, go straight back upstairs to the server room and talk to Potep. He’ll ask you to find the control panel on the big yellow machine (e4) and insert a USB. You’ll gain the USB in your inventory, so walk across to the big yellow machine outside the server room, select the USB in your inventory, and click the machine.

You’ll get the screen above. Select the USB in your inventory once more, and put it into the p5 port. After a cutscene and another chat with Potep, you’ll be given the Asset Tracker 3000 (not a visible item) with which to find the six parts of a game, three of which you’ll need to make a game. He also says the others will give you advice about which three to use. The parts are:

  • Skill: Use the jelly truck in your inventory in the wall crack (e5) to start a mini-game. At the end of the path, click the Skill part to collect it. You can touch the sides, bust not the pieces of wood.
  • Puzzle: click the puzzle block (b4) just outside the kitchen to start a mini-game. Pick up the first block and place it on the other X to gain access to a second block. When you run out of blocks, click the X you can’t place on for a clue. Go back outside and click the paintings next to Mads (c4). After a chat, collect the Block and head inside. Place the block on the final X, take the Puzze part, then leave the way you came in.
  • Music: Select the music options control button (d3) in the bottom-right of the screen. Once you’ve opened the music and SFX menu, click the Music part on it to collect it.
  • Cool Math: In Cleo’s room, click the Letters (a2) to pick some up. Give them to the Beast, choose any chat options you like, and the Beast will give you the Cool Math part.
  • Graphics: Talk to Vicky and ask to have a look at the computers. She’ll ask you to get some VR Goggles, which you need to collect by talking to Potep. Use them on Vicky’s Computers (c5) to start a mini-game. Click right and grab the Green Paint, left and then forward to get the Red Paint, left for the Black Paint, right, forward, then right again for the Pink Paint, left, forward, then right for the Blue Paint, left twice for the Yellow Paint, then right and forward to get the Graphics part.
  • Story: Ask Cleo if you can use her computer, then select it to start a text adventure. Pick: hallway, bedroom, bed, then take the Key from under the pillow. Select the cupboard, use the key to open it, and get a Crowbar. Go to the kitchen, check the jar, and get the Small Lighter. Back in the main room, use the crowbar to open the hatch. Use the lighter to guide your way and move forward. Once in the car, return to the cabin. Choose any final option, and get the Story part.

How to make the game in Coolmath Games - The Game

While you go, talk to the other characters and find out what they think you should put in the game. Their answers are:

  • Mads: Art
  • Vicky: Music
  • Potep: Puzzles and Cool Math
  • Cleo: Your choice

Add three story parts to the machine. Make the game you want, as you’ll complete the game whichever you choose (I went for Cool Math, Puzzles, and Story). Next, go and talk to Potep. He’ll give you a Wrench.

Go back and use it on the machine (e6) to start one final mini-game. Set all the levers to up by clicking the second down and bottom buttons on the right, then click the green button. Click the red button, choose a name for your game (your choice), and you’re done!

Mid-game password

Click the passwords board during the second part of the game and you’ll find the Asset Hunt password, which is 1010. You can use this on the loading screen to restart the game after the smoothies and ay hi section.
