How to upgrade Village – LEGO Fortnite Village Hall location

In LEGO Fortnite, you can build and upgrade your village to accommodate more companions and unlock different items, perks, and recipes. I've doubled down on upgrading my village to reach higher levels quickly, and here's how you can easily do the same in-game.

How to upgrade Village in LEGO Fortnite

Village Upgrades can be accessed by interacting with the Village Hub in LEGO Fortnite. This appears after you've completed the basic quests provided by the Cuddle Team Leader. The Village Hub shows all the items required and the tasks you have to complete for upgrades.

You'll need to gather specific items required for the Village Upgrades. The items required for upgrades are exceptionally rare, and I've found the best location to get them is Caves. I recommend searching for caves in early runs and placing a map marker at the location. This way you can return to the location to farm items after crafting proper weapons. 

Bring tons of Wood in your inventory before going inside caves as you can build campfires to light up the area. Some of the items you'll need for Village Upgrades are Knotroot, Plank, Marble, Granite, and more. Remember, to balance the inventory space it is best to craft Storage Chests at your village. Store unnecessary items before going for a cave raid, and carry only Wood, weapons, and healing consumables.

Similarly, there are a few tasks required to increase your Village Rating. This includes building different types of structures and adding furniture, decorations, lights, and similar objects. The Village Hub tracks your progress so you can check it at any time.

After completing all the tasks and collecting the resources, select the Upgrade Village option to get to the next level. Upgrading the Village allows you to accommodate more companions, get new recipes, and build stronger fortresses. The resource farming process for upgrades can be tedious, which is why it's best to hire NPCs early on in the game.
