How to get fertilizer in Medieval Dynasty

If you want to survive for a long time in the Medieval Dynasty, you must farm for food. But farming requires fertilizer, and this guide will teach you how to get and use fertilizer.

How to craft fertilizer in Medieval Dynasty

You have two options for crafting and getting fertilizer in Medieval Dynasty. The first is to craft it using two manure or 10 rot. You can get manure quickly if you have a few pigs inside a pigsty. Feed the pigs animal feed, and they will produce manure over time. It takes around one hour of in-game time for pigs to drop manure. Before pigs produce manure inside the pigsty, you must have at least one animal breeder assigned to the pigsty.

You can use manure earned over time to craft fertilizer inside a workbench. If you reach the point where you can assign villagers to buildings, you can assign villagers as farmers to produce fertilizer automatically. Assign one or two villagers as farmers inside a barn to have them produce fertilizer.

However, if you just started playing Medevial Dynasty, you probably don't have Pigs or a Pigsty built yet. If this is true for you, you can use the Rot method to make fertilizer. You can make rot by placing food items inside of a non-food storage container. Over time, the food stored inside a plain wooden chest will spoil and turn into rot. To store and spoil food faster, you must craft a Compost bin with four logs

Placing food inside a Compost bin spoils the good faster and you get more rot at the same time. For example, placing a Cabbage will produce four units of rot, while meat produces three units. The last option to get Fertilizer in Medevial Dynasty is to purchase it for five coins per unit. You can purchase fertilizer, usually in town when speaking to traders. We also recommend having a friend help with the leg work of setting up fertilizer production in Medieval Dynasty co-op.
