Where to take a photo of Pokémon in flight in The Indigo Disk Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Do it for the BP!

The Terrarium of Blueberry Academy is very expansive, but sometimes it's hard to find a Pokémon in flight. Even the Flying-types tend to stay to the ground (Doduo, Dodrio, Oricorio, etc.). If you want to find a Pokémon that's actually flying midair, you want to look in a specific place.

Where can you find Pokémon in flight at Blueberry Academy?

The best place to look for Pokémon that are in flight is the Savanah Biome. You won't be looking for a Flying-type per say, though. Instead, you will want to find Vibrava, the evolution of Trapinch that ends up evolving into Flygon.

Technically, Vibrava is a Dragon/Ground-type. It resembles a dragonfly, though, and uses its wings to fly around in the overworld. Therefore, when you encounter Vibrava, it will likely be floating around.

Within the Savanah Biome, you specifically want to find cliffs that hang over some parts of the area. For instance, there is one large set of cliffs right behind the Savanah Classroom area. For some reason, Vibrava usually hangs out here. You can find them flying around and easily sneak a photo of one of them.

If you don't feel like catching Vibrava, there are other Pokémon that are "technically" in flight, although they don't have wings. Many trainers will be looking for this photo to satisfy the BBQ which involves taking a picture of a Pokémon in flight. The funny thing is, even a floating Pokémon will count for this quest. So, if you come across a Magnemite that's floating off the ground, take a picture of it: the picture will count towards the BBQ.
