To make the most of your tools, weapons, and armor in Palworld, you'll need to spend extra resources restoring their durability. Here's everything you need to know about repairing your items in Palworld.
How to repair item durability in Palworld
Certain items in Palworld will lose durability over time. Tools and weapons will lose durability as they're used, while armor and shields lose durability when you take damage. The only way to restore an item's durability is by spending resources in the Repair Bench (a workstation unlocked at Technology level 2).
How to unlock the Repair Bench in Palworld
To unlock the Repair Bench, open the menu and select the Technology tab. Then, select the Repair Bench from the second row of items. It costs one Technology Point to unlock the Repair Bench. Of all the options available in Technology level 2, I recommend unlocking the Repair Bench last. You should prioritize building your base first, as any items you craft should last long enough to gather the required resources for the entire row.
Once you've unlocked the Repair Bench, open the build menu and scroll to the Production tab. Then, select the Repair Bench; it will cost 10 wood and 10 stone to build. Place the bench anywhere you'd like, then interact with it (F on keyboard or X on controller) to build it.
How to use the Repair Bench in Palworld
To repair your items, interact with the Repair Bench and select any damaged tool, weapon, or armor piece from the menu that appears. You'll see the item's current durability, as well as the cost to repair it. The materials used to repair the item are always the same resources used to craft it; the lower the item's durability, the more materials you'll have to spend to repair it. To restore your item's durability, click the blue Repair button on the right.
One particularly convenient use for the Repair Bench is the Repair All feature. If you have enough crafting resources at your base, you can press the Repair All button to restore the durability of every item in your inventory simultaneously. This feature also registers crafting materials stored in chests, so long as they're within the confines of your base.
