Top 10 Lumbering Pals in Palworld

Wood is a critical resource in Palworld, used in almost all forms of construction and crafting. To optimize wood collection, you need to utilize Pals with strong lumbering skills. These Pals can significantly increase wood production, making base upgrades and crafting tasks more manageable. By strategically choosing and deploying the right Pals for lumbering tasks, you will significantly enhance their wood collection efficiency in Palworld.

Keep in mind that certain Pals won't be obtainable at lower levels. That was one of the very first hardships I faced when I was starting out in the game. For that reason, I included specific Pals that you can obtain throughout certain game points.

Tanzee

Tanzee is a common Pal found in grasslands, particularly near Palworld's starting zone. Its easy accessibility and lumbering skills of level 1 make it an excellent first choice for wood farming.

Dinossom

Though rarer and appearing at higher levels (15-18), Dinossom's level 2 lumbering skill makes it more efficient than many other Pals, yielding greater wood production. You can find this Pal in the Eastern Wild Island, Ice Wind Island, and the Sea Breeze Archipelago.

Lifmunk

Frequenting areas around the starting point, Lifmunk not only possesses lumbering skills at level 1 but also excels in tasks like medicine production and gathering, making it a versatile worker for your base.

Cawgnito

Cawgnito, found in central and northeast ice biome islands, is notable for its lumbering ability at level 1. It's unique in that it appears only at night, adding a distinct option for players to consider.

Eikthyrdeer

Eikthyrdeer, also with a level 2 lumbering skill, can be found near mountains and dirt terrain. While a bit more challenging to catch, it's effective for wood farming due to its higher proficiency.

Robinquill

Located near the Lake Center Waypoint, Robinquill stands out with its level 2 lumbering skill, contributing efficiently to wood-gathering tasks at your base.

Mossanda

Similar to Robinquill, Mossanda, also found near the Lake Center Waypoint, possesses a level 2 lumbering skill, making it another strong candidate for effective wood farming.

Blazehowl

For late-game players, Blazehowl is a level 2 lumbering Pal found in the lava biome in the southwest corner of the map, offering a robust option for wood collection.

Mammorest

Mammorest, another level 2 lumbering Pal, is located near various waypoints like the Forgotten Island and Cold Shore, providing a reliable source for late-game wood farming.

Warsect

A standout with its level 3 lumbering skill, Warsect is found on the island above the lava biome in the southwest corner, making it an excellent choice for maximizing wood production in the late game.
