How to find and defeat Fenglope
Fenglope is a good Pal to catch, especially since you can ride on it and I always love having extra mounts. Check out how to find and defeat Fenglope below.
Where is the Fenglope boss
Once you go to the Fenglope boss fight marker at -258, -458, you'll only find a Syndicate camp. While they are fun to kill and catch, this isn't what you're looking for. Instead, go to the waterfall at -246,-431 and pass through it into the cave. You'll find the alpha Pal here.

How to catch Fenglope
Before you head out, make sure you are ready for the fight. Fenglope is a level 25 Pal, so it shouldn't be too difficult to beat if you've reached level 20 and above. It is a neutral type Pal, so the best Pals to go against it are Dark types.
I recommend taking Daedream with you, but make sure you have Daedream's Necklace. This will allow Daedream to remain outside the sphere and fight even if you have a different Pal out already. Cawgnito is also very effective against it. You can take Pals like Lifmunk and Foxparks, for a little extra fire power.
When it comes to weapons, it would be the best if you could make the Musket or the Handgun. If you haven't reached that level yet, bring in a Crossbow instead. Make sure to keep an eye on where Fenglope is attacking. If you see the attack coming at you, dodge.
If you want to catch Fenglope, then try to do so with the Giga and Mega Spheres. It might take you several tries and more damage to the boss, but you should be able to get it.
Another thing you should check before leaving is that all of your armor and weapons are repaired. You don't want to start a fight only to have something be broken.
When you catch Fenglope, you'll get:
- Ancient Civilization parts
- Leather
- Horns
- Precious Pelt
