First, let us be clear: these debug cheats are safe, as the developers used the commands. So don't worry about the possibility that you will break the game. Before using debug cheats, you need to activate them in console commands.

How to activate the console commands in Sims 4

Usually, you need a combination of keys or buttons to activate the console commands. Depending on your system, you'll need to press different button combinations. For PC, you press Ctrl + Shift + c. For Mac, press Command (the Drone button or ⌘) + Shift + c. For both PS4 and Xbox One, you must press all four shoulder buttons on your controllers.

How to activate Debug Cheats in Sims 4

The debug cheat in Sims 4 allows players to access items unavailable in Build Mode, similar to the all skills cheat method. Before entering cheats, you must activate the console in the Build Mode. The first command you enter is testingCheats true, enabling the debug menu cheats.

After that, you have two codes to use. The first is bb.showHiddenObjects, which activates Buy Debug Mode. That means players have access to previously unavailable objects in Build Mode. The second command is bb.showLiveEditObjects, further expanding the number of objects players can use in Build Mode. The objects include collectibles, home decor, yard decor, and even cars.

It's essential to enter the codes in the order we have presented. Otherwise, they will not work. After you enter the codes, go to the Build Mode search bar at the bottom-left of the screen and type debug. You will see the debug menu, and you can choose all the new items from it.
