Puzzle Cores are intriguing devices you can stumble upon in Nightingale that require a bit of thought. Solving their little puzzle is well worth doing to collect some rewards, like unique buffs and even free schematics. Here's how to do it!
How to solve Puzzle Cores in Nightingale
You may stumble upon some random solo Puzzle Cores around the world that spawn some enemies and then drop some Hope for you. However, the Puzzles Core that will give the best rewards are only located in specific locations on the map—Bastille of Intellect temples.
These temples can be placed randomly for each person since no map is entirely the same. However, once you stumble across one, it will be shown as a puzzle piece icon on your map. Plus, the pedestals will give off some light and chiming noises to make it easier for you to spot them.

How to interact with the Bastille of Intellect Puzzle Pieces
As you approach the Puzzle Pieces and Puzzle Core, they will begin to play in a specific sequence, lighting up blue around each one as they play their little musical tone. Pay close attention to what order they play in. Now, approach each Puzzle Piece and interact with it in the order they played. (Playing them in the correct order is essential because if played wrong, it will spawn some enemies.)
Interacting with the Puzzle Pieces in the correct order will complete the puzzle and open the gate to the reward. This reward is usually a unique buff, like increased jump height, extra running speed, etc., for a limited time. You can also collect the Hope within the Puzzle Core, which rewards you with free schematics, possibly for some of the best weapons, crafting stations, or Essence Dust.
Brush up your memorization skills to complete these puzzles and collect these hefty rewards. However, use them at the right moments to really maximize their effects; they don't last forever!
