No one expects them...

You’ll get used to meeting bands of guards as you walk the roads in turn-based RPG Wartales. But this changes in Drombach when you face the questions of the Inquisitors, so find all the answers you need below.

All inquisitor questions and the correct answers in Wartales

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Once you enter the Drombach County region you’ll find you’ve entered a region in the throws of a holy war. You’ll quickly meet the Inquisition patrolling the roads as well as the usual guards. The difference is, that the inquisitors are going to stop you whether you’re wanted or not. You’ll spot them as they have the Eye as a symbol, rather than the star of the usual guards.

When they do they’ll ask you a series of three or four questions. If you get them all correct, they’ll allow you to go on your way. If you get even one of them wrong, you’ll have to do one of the following:

  • Fight: A tough battle versus zealots and the like. Expect a lot of fire damage…
  • Pay: This will cost you some gold.
  • Turn over a companion: They’ll be taken to the Inquisition Camp. If you don’t go and pay there, they’ll be executed after three game days.

Some answers seem to be worse than others as well, and if you pick one of those the payment option is removed. Get the questions right, however, and you’ll gain 50 Influence

I’d suggest bookmarking this guide, as you’ll meet several different inquisitors, each of whom will ask you things from the same set of questions. I also get the feeling that they forget they’ve met you after a while and ask again, but I can’t be sure. Either way, if you stay in Dromback long, you’ll be asked more than once.
