Nothing beats a controller when it comes to shooting titles, and Warzone Mobile is no different. If you own a PS5 DualShock controller, here's how you can connect it to play Warzone Mobile on your Android or iOS device.

How to play Warzone Mobile using PS5 controller

Playing Warzone Mobile using a PS5 controller is easy and simple. You just need to follow these steps:

  • Press and hold the PS and Share buttons on your controller until the light bar flashes quickly. This means the controller is ready to pair.
  • On your mobile device, go to Settings and tap Bluetooth.
  • Look for ‘DualSense wireless PS5 controller’ in the list of available devices and tap it to connect.
  • Open the Warzone Mobile app and go to Settings.
  • Tap Controller Settings to adjust the button layout, sensitivity, and other options for your controller.

If your phone is left idle, the Bluetooth connection may disconnect, and you will have to reconnect your phone to the controller using the setup detailed above.

Please note: You can switch between touchscreen and/or controller at any time, and some menu access can only be controlled via touchscreen.

Which controllers will work with Warzone Mobile?

Apart from the PS5 controller, you can play Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile with the Backbone One controller, as well as any controller that supports Bluetooth connection technology. This includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Xbox Wireless Controller for Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, Android, and iOS.
  • Xbox Elite Wireless Controller for Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, Android, and iOS.
  • Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller
  • Sony PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 Controller

You can only use your touchscreen and your device’s native controls to access most of the menu options in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, such as choosing a Playlist or changing a Loadout. As soon as your match begins, the game will transition to full controller functionality for either Battle Royale or Multiplayer gameplay.
