How to make Compost Bin in LEGO Fortnite and how to use it

In LEGO Fortnite, the Compost Bin is a unique machine that allows you to build different types of utilities including vehicles, power cells, and other essentials. Here's how to build and use a Compost Bin in LEGO Fortnite.

Unlocking the Compost Bin in LEGO Fortnite

The easiest method to unlock the Compost Bin is to obtain a Plank and store it in your inventory. You can do this by crafting a Plank at a Lumber Mill in your base. Gather Wood by chopping down trees around your village, as this is the only ingredient required to craft Planks.

After crafting the Plank, you'll notice the recipe for the Compost Bin gets unlocked and the structure is ready to be built. Once the building schematic gets unlocked, start collecting the following materials required to build the Compost Bin:

• Sand x1
• Soil x2
• Fertilizer x3
• Plank x5

Soil can be obtained by digging the ground with a Shovel tool. I recommend digging with a shovel in the Grasslands biome to gather Soil quickly. Fertilizer is a common Creature Item that can be obtained from animals like Chickens, Cows, and Sheep. Once all four ingredients are in your inventory, place and build a Compost Bin at your base.

How to get Biomass with the Compost Bin

Biomass is a new uncommon rarity Processed Material that you can obtain by processing certain items in the Compost Bin. For instance, I used consumable items like Pizza, Pumpkin Pie, and Spicy Burger to craft Biomass. You can do the same or select low-rarity consumables like Corn on the Cob, Fish Fillet, Grilled Meat, and similar resources to obtain Biomass.
