There is a great roster of characters in Wuthering Waves, but some of the best will need you to pull them from banners. Here are all current banner characters ranked in Wuthering Waves so you'll know if you should pull them or not.

The current banner 'Thawborn Renewal,' is up until July 22, 2024. The banner features five-star Jinshi, along with the four-star Sanhua, Yangyang, and Danjin. The four-star characters can be summoned at a rate up.
4. Yangyang
Yangyang can be obtained through the main story quests, so unless you are looking to build up her Resonance Chain, then you won't be pulling on this banner for her. She deals average amounts of damage, but she is great as support since her Outro skill, Whispering Blaze, will recharge the energy of the character going after her, allowing you to reach Resonance Liberation faster.
3. Sanhua
With Sanhua, it's even more about timing, and this isn't a playstyle everyone enjoys. You'll have to hit the Forte Gauge perfectly to deal a lot of damage by detonating all of the icicles she creates with her other skills and Resonance Liberation. The portion of the Gauge that you need to hit gets bigger as you cast her various skills, so it gets easier.
2. Danjin
Danjin is a main DPS Havoc Resonator. She will deal a lot of damage when you combine her basic attack with her Resonance Skill, so you should try to chain them often. She is pretty useful to have on the team, and I especially enjoy her Resonance Liberation as she aggressively attacks with her dual blades, dealing a lot of damage in a short period of time.
1. Jinhsi
Other than being one of the prettiest characters in the game, Jinhsi is a pretty powerful unit, especially when used correctly. Once you chain four Basic Attacks, you will get an alternative Resonance skill available, which will send her into Incarnation mode. Continue with the basic attacks while in the air, and only after your skill starts glowing again should you press the button (E on mouse and keyboard). This will summon her dragon and destroy enemies. So long as you use her like this, she will be helping you clear lots of TDs.
If you are still unsure whether to pull on this banner, go to the events tab and find the Ascendant Aces event. Here, you can test out all the characters from the banner to see if they fit your playstyle. When you complete the challenge, you'll also get some cool rewards, so even more reason to try this event.
