Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming soon this year and players can't wait to experience everything this game Treyarch and Raven Software has to offer. One of the queries they may have is whether the Zombies mode is returning, so we'll explain if it is or not.
Will Black Ops 6 have the Zombies mode?
Yes, Black Ops 6 will have the Zombies mode. The main Zombies mode in Black Ops 6 will be the classic round-based format instead of the new open-world format introduced in Modern Warfare 3.
If you're unaware of the round-based Zombies format, it's essentially taking on endless waves of Zombies. You'll gain points from killing Zombies as well as fixing barriers that prevent Zombies from entering. These points will let you unlock new areas, weapons, and Perk-A-Colas. Your ultimate goal will be to survive as long as you possibly can.
What to expect from Black Ops 6
It's not clear whether other modes like the popular Outbreak mode from Black Ops: Cold War will return. Additionally, it looks like the open-world format seen in MW3 will also not be returning which is unfortunate because the mode would be amazing in the Black Ops universe. We'll probably see the return of that format in the next Modern Warfare title.
Black Ops 6 will launch with two new maps: Terminus and Liberty Falls. Additionally, the game will pick up from the Dark Aether storyline that started in Black Ops: Cold War and was expanded more in Modern Warfare 3. So, you'll be fighting regular zombies as well as those influenced by the eldritch forces.
Like previous Zombies modes in the Treyarch COD titles, the one in Black Ops 6 will also have a dedicated crew of four operators who'll take on the Zombies (alongside the multiplayer operators). We don't have any information on the crew so when we know more we'll update this guide. But, if previous games are to go by, each member of the crew will definitely have a unique story to tell.
