In Genshin Impact's Simulanka World Quest called The Story Begins in a Forest Without Rain, you must help the forest dwellers with Nilou. Doing so involves completing three puzzles in various areas in the region.

You can complete the challenges below in any order.

Rotate Pipes with Hamsters

In this challenge, you must rotate the pipes to allow the Magic Tonic to flow from the source (up the stairs) to the faucet (down the stairs). Start by rotating the lowermost pipe to connect to the pipe up the stairs. The image above illustrates the exact position the pipe should be in.

Next, rotate the middle pipe so that it's connected to the adjacent lines. It should look exactly like the image above.

Similarly, rotate the topmost pipe to connect the adjacent lines. It should look like the image above.

Once all three pipes have been rotated, interact with the hamster near the third pipe to let the Magic Tonic flow. You must pay close attention to the next step.

Stand beside the lowest pipe and wait for the Magic Tonic to visibly flow through the pipe. Once it goes through the pipe, immediately rotate the pipe again so that it connects the faucet to the flow of the Magic Tonic.

The final layout should look like the above. Since the Magic Tonic makes a U-turn, it will flow through the same pipe but will connect to the faucet this time around, depositing the liquid for the hamsters.

Paper Frog Choir

This challenge is easiest to do with music turned on, so I suggest unmuting your game. You are given four failed attempts, but there are only two challenges, so it's impossible not to complete it. You will be controlling the fourth frog throughout.

For the first challenge, the three frogs on the left will jump one by one. Once the third frog has jumped, interact to jump with the fourth frog (which you are controlling). You will have to do so in the same interval as the other three frogs, so time your jump correctly.

In the second challenge, four hamsters will appear in the same position as the frogs. Your goal is to mimic the movements of the hamsters alongside the rhythm. For example, if the two left hamsters move first, then the two left frogs should move first.

Citrus the Alpaca

This challenge is fairly simple, as your goal is to help the alpaca move materials to the designated location. But you may have some trouble with the controls. First, move your character from left to right to trigger the alpaca to move in the opposite direction.

• If you move to the right, the alpaca will face left.
• If you move to the left, the alpaca will face right.

Your goal is to first make the alpaca face the hamster. Use the Normal Attack button to pick up the citrus. Then make the alpaca face the bowl, and use the Normal Attack button to place citrus in the bowl.

If the hamsters are too high up, you can slowly walk away from the alpaca to extend its neck. Walk closer to the alpaca to make its neck shorter. You may need to extend and contract the neck multiple times in each round to pick up and deposit the fruits.

Be careful while doing this as if you run too far away, the Magic Thread (line connecting you to the alpaca) will disconnect. If this happens, use the special interact key (T for PC) to connect to the alpaca again.
