Learning the various Fighting styles is one of the best and easiest ways to improve the overall build of your character in Type Soul. So, if you are wondering how to get these abilities, I recommend reading this guide, which lists all the fighting styles in Type Soul and methods to get them inside the game.
What are the various Fighting styles in Type Soul?
As of now, there are four different fighting styles in Type Soul: two for Soul Reapers, one for Arrancar, and one for Quincy players.
Soul Reaper Fighting Styles
- Taekwondo: Taekwondo is the best fighting style in Type Soul for Soul Reapers. It has a good set of movements, both offensively and defensively. Also, it can pair well with almost every clan and ability buff in the game. I highly recommend making a Duality Taekwondo build with Raging Demon and Crazed Blitz Core to maximize the damage output.
- Formless: The Formless fighting style is a guerilla-type combat technique with a unique blend of some kicks and hand-to-hand combat movements. Though the speed is much slower than Taekwondo, it really packs a punch and is lethal during combat. I suggest including something like Black Flash in your build to make the most of the ability.
- Muay Thai: Muay Thai is a decent fighting style in Type Soul that has a good combo of M1s and crit damage. But what stands out the most is the grab, which is an excellent move that deals a lot of damage quickly. I recommend using the fighting style with Shikhai, like the newly added Ash, to make the most of the style.
Quincy Fighting Style
- Karate: Karate is one of the best fighting styles in Type Soul. Firstly, it has some of the fastest M1 hits in the game, and the crit will guard break if the last move of the ability hits the enemy, allowing you to teleport. It is the only one available right now for Quincies, and it will make no sense if you don't equip it, irrespective of your gameplay style.
Arrancar Fighting Style
- Soul Leg: The Soul Leg fighting style is based on the Sanji character from One Piece. Like its inspiration, the fighting style allows users to be hit with leg attacks and grants some air-time. Speaking of the attacks, it roughly takes three M1s to chip off one bar of the total HP and would take around 15 to 20 combos to fully take down any enemy. It isn't very impressive compared to others on the list, but you should still equip it, as it's the only one available right now for Quincy players.
How to get Fighting Styles in Type Soul
To learn any Fighting Style in Type Soul, you require manuals. There are three ways to get any Fighting Style manual in Type Soul, and you can find each one of them below.
- Clan Wars: The best way to get any Fighting Style manual is to start a clan war and obtain it as a drop reward. For this, you have to be a part of a clan and request your clan leader to start one. Otherwise, if you are the leader, start one for yourself by clicking the Clan Wars option under the Special Section in the main menu.
- Trading: The other best way to get manuals is by trading with other players. If you are still trying to figure out what you should be offering for them, use our dedicated Type Soul trading value list to get the latest prices of all items in the game.
- AFK World: Farming in the AFK World may sometimes reward you with the manuals. Hop inside the AFK World using the World Ticket and try your luck while not playing the game.
