Where to find Key to Somewhere in Genshin Impact

While exploring the Ameyalco Waters, you'll encounter a small cave with a locked gate. The mechanism beside it requires two Keys to Somewhere to unlock. If you're curious to find out what's inside, here's where you can find the keys.

All Key to Somewhere locations in Genshin Impact

When you first visit the small cave in front of the Rainbow Spirits Domain in Ameyalco Waters, you'll find an enemy camp and a locked gate. Defeat the enemies to get them out of the way and get a Chest reward. Meanwhile, the locked gate can be opened by interacting with the mechanism in front of it, which requires two Keys to Somewhere. You don't have to look far as both keys can be found within the same cave.

Key to Somewhere #1

The first Key to Somewhere can be found in a smaller cage beside a torch on the opposite side of the cave. Simply interact with it to obtain the key.

Key to Somewhere #2

The second Key to Somewhere is easy to miss (I certainly did the first time!). You can find it dangling on a rope right in front of the locked cage. It's a little high, so tall characters can't reach it even if they jump.

There are a couple of ways you can reach the key:

• Use a Geo Construct to elevate your character.
• Use characters that can fly or jump high, such as Wanderer, Xianyun, and Xiao.
• Climb the wall and try gliding toward the key.

How to use Key to Somewhere in Genshin Impact

Once you've collected two Keys to Somewhere, interact with the mechanism in front of the locked gate. Surrender the keys to unlock the gate, where you can find a Pyroculus, Precious Chest, and the Local Legend called Balachko. Defeating him will reward you with a Duelist: Series I Achievement.
