Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is out on early access but it's facing a widespread issue that is keeping players from entering the game. The community has reported the "LOGIN ERROR" that users are greeted with when launching the game, but is there a way to fix it?

Unfortunately, this is a server problem from the developers' side and you cannot do anything to fix it from your end. Other than waiting, I recommend restarting your game, console/PC, and network connection, just in case, as a handful of people have managed to enter the game. Once you're in, don't close the game and just leave it running in the background even if you're not playing to stay in.
The Test Drive Unlimited team has acknowledged the issue on social channels like X and Discord and has assured players they're working on a permanent resolution. According to their note, the server team has identified the main cause of all the connection issues and implemented changes for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. However, this has resulted in new problems they now have to deal with. As for us players, all we can do is wait for the developers to resolve the failed to log-in error to get a taste of the final product.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was initially planned for a 2022 release, but the game has been postponed multiple times and now releases on Sept. 12, 2024. While we have been expecting a smooth launch experience, it doesn't look good at all as the majority of early access players are unable to even get to the character creation screen.
Criticism and applause will follow after players get to play the game, but right now there are just complaints because the developers have failed to deliver a polished product after years of promises and testing. Everyone feels cheated as they can't play even after paying a premium to buy the gold edition and play the game a week before the official launch.
As expected, the Steam reviews are poor for the new Test Drive Unlimited game as players aren't really fans of the launch issues. One thing we can learn from this incident is that when feasible, developers should provide an offline mode for games; and for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, it surely was possible with the huge open world and activities to take part in.
