The much-awaited Sol's RNG Era 9 update has officially arrived across all platforms, bringing major additions such as new auras, items, gear, and, most importantly, the new Biome. Without further ado, here's a detailed rundown of Sol's RNG Era 9 patch notes.
All Sol's RNG Era 9 Update Patch Notes
New Auras
Here's the list of all 12 new auras that have been introduced as a part of the Era 9 update:
- Ash
- Player
- Lost Soul
- Savior
- Nihility
- Origin
- Overseer
- Atlas
- Aegis
- Apostolos
- (Mutation) - Matrix: Overdrive
- (Unobtainable): ????????
Aegis is by far the rarest Aura in the above list as it has a drop rate of 1 in 825,000,000. Its animation spawns a large laser-like gun on top of your avatar that can shoot bullets. Apart from this, developers have confirmed that they have fixed the Beam disappearance bug for Starscourge Aura.
Gears and Items
Sol's RNG Gear system has been completely revamped as they are now divided into the following tiers:
- T0: Basic Glove
- T1: Luck Glove, Lunar Device, Solar Device
- T2: Eclipse Device
- T3: Jackpot Gauntlet*, Exo Gauntlet, Windstorm Device
- T4: Subzero Device, Flesh Device*
- T5: Galactic Device, Gravitational Device*, Volcanic Device
- T6: Exoflex Device, Hologrammer
- T7: Ragnaröker
The Gears collection also continues to evolve with the release of Hologrammar and Ragnaröcker as a part of Sol's RNG Era 9.
Here are the stats of both gears:
Hologrammar
- +395% Base Luck
- +35% Roll Speed
- Duplicate: 15% chance to Duplicate an item
Ragnarocker
- +455% Base Luck
- +45% Roll Speed
- Disaster: +45% Luck when Windy, Rainy, Hell biome
New Biome: Sandstorm
The odds of encountering Sandstorm in Sol's RNG are 1 in 3000, and it can yield Gilded, Jackpot, and Atlas auras. However, your eyes should be on Atlas aura as it has a 1 in 360,000,000 chance of being rolled.
Meanwhile, the Biome Randomizer has been nerfed as its cooldown period has increased from 20 minutes to 35 minutes. As a result, you won't be able to use this item to spawn any biome regardless of its rarity for an additional 15 minutes.
Apart from that all, you can expect smoother aura equipping and various minor bug fixes.
If you're still eager for more, remember the developers will release the full-fledged rework for the user interface and Aura system along with additional content in the next Eon1 update. Unfortunately, the exact release date for this update hasn't been announced yet.
