As of now, you can only evolve and upgrade the Gom secret unit in Anime Shadow, with developers planning to add more units in the coming updates or include existing units.

  • x3 Crystal Essence
  • x5 Yellow Essence

How to farm Evolution items in Anime Shadow

All the Evolution Items in Anime Shadow are acquired by playing the Trials game mode. So, simply hop on to the Trials and start clearing the rooms one by one to get the items as drop rewards. You can bring any builds for the Trials, as the enemies don't attack back. Still, it is always best to have a loadout with most DPS to quickly clear the levels.

Remember, the current drop rates for the evolution items are pretty bad. The developers have promised to buff the items with an immediate patch.

How to evolve a unit in Anime Shadow

To evolve a unit in Anime Shadow, you have to access the evolution machine. You can find this machine on the left side of the Trials section. Just go through the Trials portal from the first world and take the left from the merchant cart to find the room with the machine. Here, place your unit and the required materials to evolve them to their best form.
