How to claim points of interest in Age of Darkness: Final Stand

Age of Darkness: Final Stand is a brutal and demanding survival RTS set in a dark fantasy world full of nightmares trying to kill you and your people. Surviving isn't the only thing of interest in this game, though.

Throughout the map are Points of Interest. These appear as small structures or rubble and are surrounded by swarms of nightmares, including special ones. To claim a Point of Interest, you must clear the area of nightmares.

You will see a ring around the Point of Interest when you are near. It will be red if a nightmare is within the red and white if it is not. The ring must be white for you to claim it, so even a single nightmare can stop your claim. Stay in the area for long enough, and you will claim it—if a nightmare enters the ring, it doesn't reset your time.

Claiming Points of Interest is a great way to gather a large number of resources. These resources can be vital to your survival, especially if you need a few more resources to build a specific structure. So it is well worth exploring the surrounding area to find these Points of Interest.
