The Graveyard level in Alone in the Dark is a big maze leading up to the Chapel door puzzle, which you must then solve using all three medallions you gathered along the way. It's a somewhat complex task, made more difficult by the lack of a functioning map.

You will find the Blessing medallion in Alone in the Dark shortly after visiting the Hartwood family tomb. After you exit the tomb's gate, go right and up the stairs. You will be greeted by the first Saint statue with a shining medallion on his chest. Take it and use it on the door to the right to proceed to the next graveyard area.

After mowing down a couple of monsters, you will shortly come up to the chapel itself, but with only one medallion, you won't be able to get in yet. Once you enter the chapel courtyard, immediately go through the ruined wall to your left, following the linear passage to the next arena. You will have an option to sneak your way through. I decided to silently put a bullet in the head of each monster, but the choice is up to you.

Here, you will be looking for a crevice in the wall leading to another tomb. Go through the tomb and emerge into another courtyard with an angel statue in the center. There will be two tomb entrances here; proceed into the one currently open. Go downstairs to the tomb cellar and pick up the Omen medallion from the Saint statue.

Retrace your steps to the surface again to have a small boss fight in the angel statue courtyard. After killing all the monsters, you will see that another tomb door has opened. This is your next stop. Go into the tomb and climb the ladder down to the lower level.

The tunnels are gonna be swarming with monsters. Once they engage you, do not fight them, as they will keep swarming you and kill you eventually. I fought them more than I care to admit, to no avail. Follow the torches leading you through tunnels and don't stop for anything, as the monsters will keep on emerging.

At a certain point, you will see a pillar in the middle of a tunnel; don't panic, as the tunnels don't split (my initial thought). Instead, just keep going forward and turn right. There, you will see multiple statues, with the third and final Saint statue at the tunnel end. Take the final Sacrifice medallion.

Once you emerge at the Chapel once more, you will finally have all three medallions to solve the riddle to the Chapel door in Alone in the Dark. As always, the solution is in the clues, you just need to know where to look for it. Open the Commonplace book, and you will see a sketch of three medallions arranged in the following form:

  • Blessing: Top
  • Sacrifice: Left
  • Omen: Right

Make sure each medallion is positioned upright. If you do everything correctly, the Chapel door will finally open, leading to a rather dramatic cutscene.
