How to get the Among Us Jailbreak / Prison Escape mod

There are a variety of mods for Among Us, but the Prison Escape (also known as jailbreak) mod changes the game completely.

Jailbreak is not publicly available. Skeld.net normally hosts these games, but this is an exclusive mode. That means if you pay $1,000 to $3,000 to Skeld.net via their Discord, they will create a mode just for you. Jailbreak seems to be one of the most popular right now. However, there is another mode that is similar and free called Cops and Robbers.

Skeld.net hosts Cops and Robbers for free on PC. Innersloth, the developers of Among Us, stopped supporting Skeld in their mobile app. So, currently, it is not possible to play any of the mods on mobile.

There are some other downloadable places claiming to host the game, but we never recommend downloading from sites that aren't at least officially supported by Innersloth, the developers for Among Us.

If you have Among Us on Steam:

• Go to Skeld.net and scroll down to Windows.
• Download the file from the site and click run.
• Skeld.net will check to see if players have Among Us, and from there, it will start the game.
• Click Online.

If you have Among Us on Epic Games:

• Go to Skeld.net and scroll down to Windows.
• Download the file from the site and click run.
• Make sure Among Us is closed.
• Click on the search bar on the bottom left of your screen.
• Copy and paste this into your search bar:
  • curl -L --output "%APPDATA%/../LocalLow/Innersloth/Among Us/regionInfo.json" --url "http://skeld.net/setup/regionInfo.json"

• Click open or on the first result.
  • A command bar will appear and then quickly disappear.

• Start Among Us in the Epic Games app.
• Click Online.

You will see "skeld.net" in the main menu instead of North America or the regular Among Us servers if it is running. The process of running a mode is as simple as hosting a game, entering /gamemode in the chat, and then entering the mode. The mode, in this case, is CopsRobbers.
