Animal Crossing (ACNH) Lunar New Year Event – Start and End dates, festive items

The Year of Tiger is here.

The 2022 Lunar Year Event has arrived in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Similar to last year's event, the game has added special dialogs and purchasable festive items to the in-game shop for a limited duration. Here's everything you need to know about the Lunar Event.

ACNH Lunar New Year Event 2022 - Start and End dates

Although the Lunar New Year itself starts on Feb. 1, exclusive items for the event were added to the game on Jan. 30. Since the Lunar Event is a limited-time celebration, the festive rewards are available in the shop for a short duration (in this case, until Feb. 6).

ACNH Lunar New Year Event 2022 - Festive Items

You can purchase the following Lunar Year festive items until the event ends:

  • Bokjumeoni Lucky Pouch - 600 Bells
  • Lucky Red Envelope - 600 Bells
  • Lunar New Year Decoration - 2,400 Bells

To buy these objects, go to the Nook Shopping menu and select the Special Goods shop. Thereafter, head over to the Seasonal column for all three festive items. If you want to access these special gifts, make sure to get them before their purchase window is over.
